I am passionate about creating a culture of personal and professional growth, rooted in developing the emotional intelligence skills of campers and staff. Through the camp experience, I cultivate passion and purpose in others, one that lasts long after the camp season.
My son and daughter both had the opportunity to experience camp from a young age, which also gave me the perspective of a camp parent. I love talking with camp families and believe strongly that the connection between a camp parent and director is based on a deep trust.
My husband Chris and I live in North Mankato, Minnesota with our daughter Renn. Our son Ronan is a college student in the northeast.
I turned 8 years old the day before my first summer as a Robindel camper. Camp was the most formative experience of my early years and has continued to shape my life since. When I returned to Robindel in 2000 as a counselor I realized that camp could be a part of my life forever because it is a place where I could always be challenged and continue to grow, and help others do the same.
More than ever, children need carefree days in nature surrounded by compassionate people, engrossed in activities and traditions, and unplugged from technology. I truly believe that camp is the ultimate gift for our children and feel lucky that my own girls get to grow up at Robindel.
It is an honor for me to carry on the Robindel traditions and values, and provide a summer home to the next generation of young women.
My husband Adam and I live in Bend, Oregon with our daughters Romy and Orli and our dog Winni (named after Lake Winnipesaukee).
I was born and raised in Colombia. In 2005 I was awarded a tennis scholarship to Brenau University in Georgia. I came across Robindel in 2008 while looking for a summer job teaching tennis. Little did I know that I would find so much more than a summer job. I found a community that provided life skills, endless growth opportunities and long-lasting relationships for children and adults. I also found my husband Andres!
At Robindel I have been a tennis coach, a cabin counselor, a Blue & White team captain and a unit leader. I love getting to know the campers and their families. I am passionate about helping staff grow and find success in their work.
My husband Andres and I live in my home country, Colombia, with our daughter Belen who was born in the summer of 2023.
