Outdoor Adventure

Our location in the White Mountains is the perfect setting for exploring the outdoors and discovering the excitement of camping. Outdoor Adventure is filled with fun and adventure while teaching about leadership, responsibility, respecting the outdoors and cooperative living.

All campers have the opportunity to participate in at least one overnight camping trip – Junior campers go on one trip as a cabin, Inter campers may choose to go on an optional trip, and Senior campers go on multi-day trips to the Maine Coast as well as white water rafting on the Kennebec River. Many girls’ fondest memories come from these trips, roasting marshmallows around the campfire while chatting with new and old friends.

Our “Adventure Club” offers weekly hiking trips to campers of any age who wish to participate.

Our oldest girls may choose to hike Mt. Washington (the highest Northeast peak), an unforgettable experience that leaves them filled with pride and excitement (and sore legs!). Incredibly, this is the first significant hike that some of our girls conquer in their lifetime, and many discover a love for hiking.
