Swim

There is nothing quite as refreshing as jumping into a crystal clear lake on a hot summer day. We are so lucky to have a private cove on beautiful Lake Winnipesaukee for our girls to swim each day. Our carpeted floating dock system forms a protected swimming area that divides the shallow crib, lane lines and deep area.

All swim staff are trained in Water Safety Instruction and American Red Cross Lifeguarding. Instructional swim lessons are provided for all campers during bunk swim activity periods, and girls may choose between free swim and instructional swim during elective periods. We have three giant inflatables water toys, water basketball, and tons of inner tubes and noodles to splash around on during free swim times.

Campers of all ages and abilities choose to participate in individual and relay events at swim meets with other camps.

Our oldest girls have the opportunity to sign up for an American Red Cross Lifeguarding course. Many who choose to participate in this course go on to earn lifeguarding jobs after their final summer at Robindel.
